The Saudi Arabian Standards Organization SASO (Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization) has begun to enforce new regulations on IECEE certification since February 15, 2019. The new regulations require that in addition to the product compliance certificate COC required for customs clearance, the products within the control must also apply for and obtain the IECEE certificate in advance so that the goods can be successfully cleared at Saudi customs.
